Has there been any discussion about Willi Castro taking over at shortstop? This is something I thought should be happening because of Farmer's limited range and weaker arm (surer hands probably) and also why I didn't think the Twins should have kept Farmer as a bench player this year.

early in the first game, Provus said Rocco was going to rotate Castro and Farmer,. I would guess slightly more Castro with Farmer at 3rd since I think both are a little better in those spots

Used to say Wallner was a Gallo Jr. but Julien and Wallner have the same number of Ks, whilst Julien has Gallo style 10 hits with 4 Home Runs.

Kinda wish Wallner was Gallo Jr..

The Twins, as a whole seem to have some sort of addiction at swinging at low pitches way out of the strike zone and watching first pitches down the pipe go by.

It makes sense to rotate them at least somewhat, as Farmer is better against LHP and Castro is better against RHP.

Their guys throw meatballs right down the middle and our guys watch them or foul them or swing through for strikes. Our guys throw meatballs and other teams don’t miss and hammer the pitch, and our pitchers talk about the ‘mistakes’, ‘if only’, at the presser. Maybe it’s just me. Or is it?

Some thing has happened to Buxton; last year he was hammering chest high pitches early in the year.
