Ok how about great stop (saved a double)? I’m looking to stay somewhat positive/hopeful . LewFordLives and IndianaTwin 2

RpR Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Jeffers is the new Joey Gallo, if he does not K , it goes over the fence.
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 How about that, we won't get shut out tonight. Yippee!
jkcarew Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 107 mph exit velocity for Julien…against a lefty. For an out, of course.

OvertheHill Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Weird but the Dodgers have looked sort of unfocused at the plate for the past 3 innings. jkcarew 1
SteveLV Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Darn, Twins can't reach 20 K;s. Max will be 18. This is unwatchable baseball. Dodgers are superior team in EVERY way. These 2 teams could play 10 games and the Twins might win 1. Nice parity, MLB. MABB1959 1
Fitzpatrick54 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 15 strikeouts by the Twins tonight. And the fools at the Twins PR department calls the 2024 Twins campaign "Baseball, 'Sota Style." If the Dodgers sweep us tomorrow, the new slogan should be: "Losing to the Dodgers and Yankees: A Pohlad Family Tradition, 'Sota Style." Hope the Sherriff comes through tomorrow, and start a winning streak when we hit Detroit.
Fitzpatrick54 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Hey, at least we struck out 14 Dodgers! And Jeffers homered! Now, let's have the Sherriff rack up more K's tomorrow in a Twins win over LA.
RpR Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Hopefully Kirilloff gets a hit to raise his BA. BINGO!

Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Byron not running hard on that one. Sure it was routine. Until Betts uncorked a high throw.
Heistyman Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Strange that we ding prospects when they strikeout 30% of the time but the Twins main club is allowed a 40% clip.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Wallner put it in play! RpR 1
Irishman Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Now it is 0-4 at home. How about this 0-81 at home when the season end? Very embarrassing!

Not me, I’m dinging the whole franchise approach to hitting. Yay, so we hit ultimately meaningless Joey Gallo type solo HR’s. And pack the box score with fruitless AB after fruitless AB.

Huh?? After tonight, the Twins K rate will be at about 28%. And literally, everyone is complaining about it.
