IaBeanCounter Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Correa with a day off. His defense hasn't been up to his standards the last couple of days. FlyingFinn and SwainZag 2

His defense hasn't been up to his standards the last couple of days. TC has a day off before and after 3 game series next week with LAA. If possible they should rest Correa that series. That would give him 5 straight days off and then 6 games left in season.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Welcome back, Jorge! It would be really nice to get on the board early for Keuchel. I also love the strong getaway lineup going into the 7 game road stretch, go get that division! wsnydes 1

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Hope we don't plunk TB's 9-hole hitter, leading to a massive brujanjan.
SteveLV Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Very interested to see how Keuchel fares against an excellent Rays lineup.

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Two old men had been best friends for years, and they both live to their early 90′s, when one of them suddenly falls deathly ill. His friend comes to visit him on his deathbed, and they’re reminiscing about their long friendship, when the dying man’s friend asks, “Listen, when you die, do me a favor. I want to know if there’s baseball in heaven.” The dying man said, “We’ve been friends for years, this I’ll do for you.” And then he dies. A couple days later, his surviving friend is sleeping when he hears his friend’s voice. The voice says, “I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that there’s baseball in heaven.” “What’s the bad news?” “You’re pitching on Wednesday.” USAFChief 1

Road trip Verified Member Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Correa yesterday, Kepler today. I'm starting to believe there are no "official" errors anymore.. Tough plays, but made 95% of the time by major league players.

Also somehow a 0.590 xBa and I wonder if that plays into it anywhere? Obviously not a 59% hit rate on that ball but if that figures into scoring decisions it would explain a lot.

Wonder if going from sun to shade had anything to do with it. Either way, gotta give him a big fat E there. PDX Twin 1

Still doesn't matter, sun in the eyes is an error.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Not entirely Keuchel's fault, but that's one of the problems when you give up so many base runners.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Yandy Diaz had quite the career breakout at age 31 and what a career year at age 32.
