I liked Rocco's hand sign during his dugout interview. I guess he was trying to convince us he knows what's going on and he's involved.

Guess it would have scored anyway.

Since the next guy hit what would have been a 6-4-3 double play, keeping Robert at first would have kept them off the board. If Vázquez is throwing through, the guy at second base (Julien?) should be coming forward and throwing back to the plate. Julien tried to make a tag and essentially conceded the run.

WIth the HOF recognition, I was intrigued by Tom Verducci’s tidbit during the couple innings of Brewers-Braves that we got, that only Honus Wagner and Eddie Murray played more games in the cleanup spot than Fred McGriff.

What an obscure stat, and worth a beer at a trivia bar.

Darn. I spelled his name wrong, didn't i. Sorry. 1 L...

I like 4 consecutive vowels!

First MLB player to have all five vowels in his first name?

How about in his last name?

I know the answer but I'll hold off for a bit in case someone else wants to post it.

Cease, another cy young candidate against twins' hitters

He has a 3.20 ERA since the first of June. Either 1 or 2 runs in six of his last eight starts. He’s been throwing really well.

Kepler hits a long 2nd deck foul ball, Wallner puts one on the warning track, Twins are now hitting but not the right places.
