OptimisticTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 I like that Wallner is clearly a guy that can hit for power and has a solid eye to get on base, but he has batted ball events somewhat consistently outside of his barrels that lead to hits even if it's technically not great contact. To me, this is a difference between his profile and say a Gallo type of profile which is a good reason for optimism. ashbury 1

No, but larger volume and variety of batted ball events compared to a Gallo profile seems to be true. If I were to run to be elected as the decision maker for the Twins my platform would be centered around maximizing the number of batted ball events that the Twins have.
