So AK is up but not in the lineup again. What gives?

Agree...kind of surprised he isn't playing. So there's a lefty going for Cleve...get AK in there anyway.

Once again, this lineup reinforces my opinion that Baldelli is an incompetent coach. Buxton @leadoff ?! And what!!!… solano cleanup?!! He’s rolling up his sheet of sabremetrics and smoking it.

Needs more practice sitting on the bench? Surely they knew who was pitching for Cleveland before they brought him up...

If they wanted to bring up Kirilloff before the 10th, they had to pair it with someone going on the Injured List. AK didn’t make it in time to play yesterday and isn’t starting tonight. It probably made that choice pretty difficult.

Hopefully, he will pinch hit and get on the field tonight.

He should have been there yesterday, and been in the lineup instead of Solano.

Today, let him sit and watch the lefty.

They didn’t know Thielbar would come up lame, giving them the opportunity to bring up Kirilloff.

Agreed. I think Kiriloff's splits are pretty balanced. Hopefully, he will get a PH opportunity today.

They sent down Larnach, thinking they might go with 14 pitchers for a while, as they brought up DRod?

I'll go with the consensus that Kirilloff will be the first pinch hitter once Cleveland brings in a righty reliever.

No, they were already bringing up Rodriguez and were going to send down another pitcher, probably Winder. The Rodriguez move had been announced and Larnach was listed in the starting lineup, but with Thielbar surprisingly going on the Il, they were able to call up Kirilloff, who otherwise would be frozen in AAA until 5/10.

The rosters are capped at 13 pitchers, so they couldn’t add another pitcher without subtracting one.

Oh that's true.  Just makes the sequence a bit weirder, and probably less meaningful as to who-went-down-for-whom.

Guess who is in second place in the AL Central? If you have noticed, the Motor City Kitties have moved a full game ahead of the Guardians.

I saw that this morning, they're playing really well.

Yeah, i see them play on TV and they look pretty good.  I have a hard time really rooting for them, as being a divisional foe and AJ Hinch isn't one of my favorite people on this earth.

What excuse will MLB.tv give me today for not letting me watch the game?  "Oh, sorry, we sold the rights to someone else.  Go ask YOUR MOM."

I was hoping to see Donnie Barrels make a bid to keep his job when Farmer is reactivated.  Not this inning, apparently.

Hopefully Farmer doesn't have PTSD from that fastball to the face
