The Twins said the they DFAd Floro to make room on the 40 man.  I only have 39 on the 40 man.  28 active, 7 in minors (Balazovic, Headrick, Henniqez, Sands, Winder, SWR & Celestino) and 4 on 10 day IL (Correa, Lewis, Gallo & Buxton).  The Twins roster has Alcala, Centerino, De Leon, Mahle, Moran, Gordon & Miranda on the 60 day IL.  What am I missing?

They can only have 14 pitchers. If they kept Floro they'd have to option someone else. They can't option Floro so cutting him opened spots on the 28 and 40 man rosters.

They added Stewart back on both the active roster and 40-man.

Floro was officially released. Either he refused outright assignment to the minors or the twins decided to release him. The result is the same.

Odd happenstance that they came over in the same trade and now one is being DFAed in order to activate the other.

Celestino has been outrighted to ST. Paul, so no one claimed him.

Both Andrew Stevenson and José De León have been outrighted to St. Paul. That will reduce the number on the 40-man roster.
