You're thinking we need to get Perkins up?

Don't be silly. Wait another baserunner at least.

I'm thinking that someone should be warming up in case Duensing gives up much more.

Would like to see a little more chalant on that catch there, Hicksie.

Now let's get those insurance runs. Hammer time!
Should I read much into the fact I'm all for insurance runs in a game in which we've put 2 touchdowns on the board? Prolly I'm overreacting, right?

Hammer: "F that, I'm not getting out the way. Not even going to try."

So, now do we shift Doumit from DH to left for defensive purposes?

I just checked the box score and I realize just how early it still is. Carroll was well over .300, but two hitless games put him under .250 (Carroll got a hit). Plouffe raised his OPS over .800, Doumit with two good games is up to .247 with an OPS of .720 and Hernandez has seen his ERA balloon to 5.96.

Remember that game in Oakland years ago when the Twins were up by more than 10 and ended up losing?

Talkin' season, not game, right? Or are you predicting extra innings?

So tomorrow, I say we bunt at Ciriaco about 15 times in a row. Then in the second inning we'll try something else.

Anybody else think Morneau can't stay on a ball to save his life. He's been so pull-happy this year. He's trying to hit balls on the outside corner to RF.

Plouffe has got to protect. The book on him will continue to be down and away. Takes way too many called third fastballs. Yes, it was a ball, but too close to let go. Hope he starts fighting like a Carroll AB, rather than watching strike 3.

Having a 5.96 ERA will be a happy memory by years end for that toad

He did not look sharp to me in that last at bat.

---I think I do remember that game. If I remember correctly (which I may well not), Blackburn played a huge role in coughing up that lead. Wasn't that also the game we got hosed big time when Cuddyer was called out at home when he was safe and it wasn't even close, I think he his foot has slid all the way across the plate before he was tagged?

Uh, because I'm super young? That must be it, yeah.

i wasn't thinking... I'm off my game as well... I should have said that I'm like your George Burns.

Say Goodnight Ashbury!
