Well, that play was interesting. Ellsbury caught it, it popped out and off the wall, he caught it again, then about 11 Twins were out on the basepaths. Very confusing- I can imagine the baserunners being confused.

Casey Fein is making his bid to be replaced by Gibson (if that happens), since somebody has to go. Having an option helps.

Baserunning issues for Willingham, Doumit, and Plouffe. Doesn't take a genius to see who gets the brunt of that problem....

 

Yup, even though Willingham failed to advance to 3B and for some reason Doumit was standing in RF. Plouffe did seem to be the only one who knew what was going on but he is currently one of Gardy's Goats .
