I would hope that next season  Buxton just plays everyday, he should be a full time player. Giving him days off didn’t accomplish anything except losing a lot of games they could have or maybe would have won.

I agree.  All this coddling just to protect their investment isn’t worth it.   Plus it hasn’t worked.

The coddling and 100 game plan didn't come into play until Buxton hurt his knee against Boston. And I still contend that if he was hustling out of the box he makes second standing up, but the team as a whole seems to suffer from this.

A complete team breakdown.  The talent is strong enough, and the talent that the Twins do have is mismanaged.  This debacle during August and September is not coincidental.  It's an accumulation of poor play, mediocre attitude and inexperience.  Divvy it up amongst  any of the players, field management or FO, the team isn't really close as being as good as we would like to believe.

Well baring a big rally from a team a shadow of its chosen contingent that would signal the end of divisional hopes.  Too bad Twins couldn’t play with their A-team like Cleveland.

I still don't believe Cleveland is that far a superior team.  Yes, they have sound pitching, and you need that, but I just see a game of fewer mistakes and far better field management.
