Well, I guess now we're losing games by keeping our starters in too long when cooked... great. Well, I think we've experienced the whole range of the different ways of losing games this year!

Nobody could of seen this coming.

really?  This staff is full of meatballers, and it's starting to show.  Can we trade for an entirely new pitching staff?

The last two games it’s been the 4th inning and 5th inning where the starter melted down. I mean, 9 pitches is too much to ask of our bullpen. I hope we’re not advocating for the horrible bullpen to come in in the 4th inning (although smeltzer had nothing today from the start)

Smeltzer stunk it up today

3 bad starts by starters in a row when the offense has come around.  Definition of a not so good team.

Perez will shut the door for the next inning or 2, then we get to face their good bullpen.

I doubt it he’s an ex Twin

Can someone on the entire staff for the love of god man up and do their job?

I think the real weakness of this team is starting to show

Perez just gave up a 6 run inning and comes back out for the 5th at 75 pitches. Is rangers daily melting down?

Baldelli has hit close to rock bottom.  How can you let smelzer get runners on first and third, no outs, and not sned out your pitching coach/  If no other reason, to try and break up their momentum.  Next batter, hits a 3 run dinger..................Nothing, except balldelli reloads his mouth with seeds or whatever.  Next guy up, hits a solo shot.  Balldelli skips to the mound for a pitching change.  So, in the matter of half an inning, Smelzer gives up 4 runs and Balldelli, looks like the Scarecrow from the Wiz of Oz.

Lots of baseball left

True, ample time for Texas to tack on a half dozen of runs or more.

I’m sure he was hoping to squeeze another inning out of him (at least) because the bullpen is what it is. Perez just threw a scoreless inning after the horrible 4th. Probably waited too long to get someone loose from what it sounded like on the radio

They should change the name of Twinsdaily to TwinsHell

You are talking about the last 2-3 weeks of games I assume...LOL.  We just mirror what we see.  Not making stuff up here.

One admirable feature of the 2022 Twins has been their ability to bounce back. There are obvious flaws to this team. I've been preaching that the starting rotation is not going to produce a lot of innings and also doesn't have a bell cow at the top of the rotation. Somehow, they've avoided losing streaks and held a lead throughout since they took over late in April. I expect the Twins to bounce back until they don't.
