I'm staying away tonight through Monday.  'Twas too much to chew on in the last 48 hours.  Have fun (hopefully), everyone.

#80?  Recent call up for the Orioles?

let’s hope Joe Ryan is back to his normal self!

I likewise hope. But none of your new normals here. I want the old one from the before times.

And i checked the standings... Twins are 43-36 which is a sum of 79.

This is game #80 of our season. He seems to have our number?

I know Buxton's been flashing some great offense this year but a .230 average with a 30% strikeout rate leaves much to be desired. I don't think he's All-Star worthy, frankly.

Hopefully he's watching how Correa handled his AB and made sure to push the ball to the right side with Arraez on 2nd there.

And a perfecto for Ryan through 2 innings.

I can't believe how slooooowwww this team is other than Buxton, and he won't even try to steal anymore with the "plan". They just don't get the extra bases, and when they try, they get thrown out more than not.

What do you mean ‘the plan’ says he can’t steal? I hadn’t heard that aspect of it.

Kepler is very fast, so is Gordon. Correa, not so much. Surprised they sent him.

Normal self?  the kid hasn't pitched a full season yet, in his career.   It's this kind of expectation that really is not fair to the player or the fans.

Does anyone else (watching game on tv) really got annoyed with Dick Bremer?  He is the absolute karma killer!   "Ryan perfect through 8 batters on only 30 pitches"

Note to Dick:  We know that!

Just so tired of him.  Never.....and I mean NEVER will he even remotely offer even constructive criticism against any player.  Nor, will he ever question a decision by Rocco.

Time for some fresh blood doing play-by-play.

Buxton 1 attempt, 1 SB ..... same as Sanchez.

Kepler 3 attempts, 2 SB,  67%

Gordon 6 attempts, only 3 SB, 50%.

Polanco 5 attempts, only 3 SB, 60%

team..... 23 attempts, only 13 SB, 10 CS, 56.5%. Very last in all of MLB.

They are so many times not getting 1st to third on a single, or scoring from 1st on a double, and way too often only getting from 1st to 3rd on a double and not even scoring, or getting thrown out at home.

If they are fast, then they are just horrible base runners, but that has been evident.

So yes,...... I call that sloooooooooowwwwwww.

And the other side..... they all run on us like there was no one there.

When I watch the game, I’m not really sitting there watching. I have the TV on in the background while doing other things, so, I sort of hear it but I’m not listening to all the talk. So, it doesn’t bother me. But, I also have the option of listening to the other team’s game feed
