wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Author Posted June 5, 2022 Excellent response by Gordon.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 That was probably the most casual triple I’ve ever seen in my life.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Nick Gordon is proving that he belongs as a utility man the past week or so* *This statement is subject to change at any time
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Congrats to Jermaine! Completely changed the outlook of the game in the last 3 plays.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Author Posted June 5, 2022 Palacios gets an atta boy! Congratulations on your first big league RBI!

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Gausman is being BABIPed to death. I’ll take it.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Twins came to play today, let's score a couple more

CRF Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Gausman doesn't have it working today...we HAVE to throw another crooked number up there.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Have the White Sox been teaching the Blue Jays to play defense?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Chapman is one of the best defenders in the game. Not an error I don't think, but that's a play he usually makes.

I give Miranda props against the majority of the league I feel he makes that, but I agree you can't make that out there. I don't think anyone in the Twins fandom loves, or even likes what they're doing. I justify it as picking the lesser of two evils and protecting their investment. Maybe with two days off we get him for 3/4 instead of 2/3. If Buxton breaks 100 games this year I'll be content knowing he played as much as his body let him without going on the IL. IF we get him for 3/4's of the games IF.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Weird how we got dominated by Berrios, yet have decimated Kikuchi and Gausman. So much for the Twins going into complete tailspin in this series!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 By every stat and metric, Gausman is a superior pitcher to Berríos. After the Polanco homer, the Twins did nothing. Today, after the fielding error, they’ve really made Gausman work. They have had some good fortune as well.

I wouldn't start counting poultry just yet.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Prediction: The Jays will score at least five runs. The Twins need to keep scoring.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 I sure hope Larnach can do more than strike out with RISP today.

If we do lose this one you could consider it a "tailspin", but not a 'complete' one since we did blow them out in the first game.
