ST Game Thread: Red Sox v Twins, 3-27 @ 12:05 CT

There is no stream today, sadly. No radio that I could find. Nothing, except gameday. Why post a game thread then? Because it's Correa's first game as a Twin. Ryan is pitching. And the lineup looks suspiciously like it could be an opening day lineup with a possible tweak here or there. (I'm sure there will be a few iterations of this before it's actually opening day.) It's a pity that we can't watch or listen, truly. And yes, it's an indictment on MLB for not just opening up ALL of spring training games for everyone everywhere. And the weather in Fort Myers today looks perfect, according to my weather app ... sunny, low humidity, breezy, 80 degrees. Oh, and on top of that? It's Minnesota Day at Hammond Field. Sigh. And I'll be at work this afternoon. Up north where it's also sunny, but cold. Anyway ... if anyone is following ... feel free to comment ...

Yeah, it's not a 'real' game thread ... as I said, this is an indictment on MLB, because, it is. It's more than a shame.

Ryan looked good but was missing badly with whatever off-speed pitch he uses against leftys. Probably the change. Otherwise he looked good, really works the edges. The guy gets a lot of called third strikes.

Morneau keeps saying Ryan wasn't as sharp as his first outing. I disagree. Last time out he was facing an inferior lineup, gave up lots of hard contact in the first inning and needed Buxton to snatch a homer for him. This time he was sharp except for that off-speed pitch against leftys.
