Come on, you have to admit that Shoemaker was a good signing. Without Shoe, I would have spent a considerable amount of time away from my family. "Honey, are you going to be home early tonite? "Yes, dear, Shoemaker is pitching tonite"
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Let’s start naming pitchers you’d rather see in 2021 than Happ. I’ll go first. 38 year old Sam Deduno who hasn’t pitched since 2014.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Polanco looks like he's back in 2019 form. He's healthy and smacking the ball around, and even hitting more HRs than expected even with the ball carrying less. It took longer than expected, but at least someone [outside of Cruz] is looking like their 2019 self.

insagt1 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Twins playing with all the passion and enthusiasm of someone who has been shot up with novocaine. Its going to be a long 10 weeks. I see them finishing only ahead of Baltimore in the AL:.
