RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I thought Morneau would be the answer in the booth. But like everything else this year, he's getting to be a boring pain in the rear. Kaat spoiled me a little bit, but it was a small sample size.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Does Colomé have, dare I say, positive trade value now?

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Kepler! (and belatedly Donaldson!)
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Alcala not even close to hitting spots. Our bench sees that, right?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Alcala is wilting. This is gonna hurt, boys and girls
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Woof, Alcala doesn’t have a feel for any of his pitches right now.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 It shouldn’t be unbelievable at this point but it still is
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 All the changes that have happened in the game and walks still kill you. Good to know not everything changes
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I’m surprised neither runner advanced on that throw to the plate. That seems like a misplay by the Sox.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Alcala has been a pretty massive disappointment this year. I thought he may take a big step up, but instead he's closer to a AAA demotion rather than getting closing opportunities. Yet another disappointment from our pitching staff.

I had considerable hopes for him this season. His pitches are so damned nasty.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I don’t know much about the fancy new pitching statistics, but I would assume that it’s still important for relievers to throw strikes. We seem to have many guys who struggle with that
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Billy Hamilton owns the twins. How sad.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Sox look like they’re gonna win the pennant. Twins look like they won’t compete until the next olympics, maybe.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Abreu is a single short of the cycle.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 And you knew that was coming. All inherited runners, and then some, score. There goes Robles' trade value....
RpR Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Larnachs fielding skills seem to not exist after that throw but now it makes no difference. Why didn't Baldelli leave Colome in?
