Twins on FSN+ tonight, and a certain big name prospect is playing...

Tonight the Twins are playing the Yankees on FSN+ at 6:05. And La Velle posted online that Miguel Sano will be batting fifth and playing third base!

I was planning on watching the game anyways, but make sure to tune in to see Sano play tonight. This will be my first time getting to see him.

It's listed on mlb.tv for other subscribers who are interested. Probably blacked out, but I'll watch it tomorrow.

I don't think MLB imposes their blackout policies on MLB.tv games during spring training. At least I've been able to watch this month and I'm pretty sure I'll be blacked out when the games begin to count.

and I don't get FSN+ (just FSN). Totally crappy. Good luck Sano (please someone start a game thread!)

Is FSNPlus on a more expensive tier, or does your provider simply not offer it? I get it but I'm quite sure I'm not paying more for it....

Pretty exciting. Batting 5th and playing 3B... they're certainly exposing him to a lot this year. Bringing him to Twins Fest. Keeping him in Ft. Myers. Getting to play in the DWL. Now being put in there against the Yankees. I know he and Robinson Cano are close. Should be fun to watch. I'm actually going to be driving during the game, so hopefully I can listen! Heading to the cities for the Twins Daily viewing party... maybe he'll play again on Saturday! :)

7 Benson, 8 Hicks, 9 Mastr are all in too... Unfortunately, M & M and Willingham aren't riding the bus up the coast, but otherwise a decent look at potential 2013ers/future.

I was under the impression that if you have FSN that you also have FSN+. I have no confirmation of this, but is it possible you get it and just don't realize it? That's happened to me on several occasions.

Channel 339 in Grand Forks... 639 HD... Between UND Hockey and the Twins... FSN will have my attention tonight. I don't think I will have any time for college basketball. If the wife wants me to go somewhere... I won't be.

On Comcast in St. Paul FSN + isn't listed, but plays on Channel 13 which is usually infomercials. Search around you may find it. It's usually used when FSN is showing a Wild or Timberwolves game.

Does anyone know what channel FSN+ is in Minneapolis? I'm looking at comcast channel guide and I can't find it.

I'm pretty sure if I go out to a bar or something, there's only going to be the NCAA tournament on and I would rather watch this exhibition baseball game instead.

Thanks all for the advice on getting to watch the game, it actually comes down to me being cheap.

River, I have classic cable (below basic/without the HD receiver). I've never upgraded because I get my fix on FSN and Midco (I really don't watch much else...children and work take up most of my other free time). I probably just need to break down and get the upgrade. Oh yeah, go Sano and UND hockey!

From what I had heard before and read here, it likely won't be in your channel guide because it's not "always there," rather they broadcast stuff on one of the channels that's typically public access or infomercials or whatever. Might just need to search through your guide (assuming you have that) on the TV and look for a baseball game by title that starts at 6:00.

Right, the Twins left a few behind today. Mauer and Pelfrey drove up to Sarasota so Joe could catch him. Willingham, Plouffe, Morneau and Doumit stayed behind and played in minor league games. Fein started one game and Burton another. I didn't catch all of their at bats since they were on two different fields, but didn't see anyone get a hit. Willingham did walk once that I saw, and Justin grounded out to 1st twice. Fein and Burton pitched well.

Thanks for all the help guys. I was looking at a non-comcast guide and it didn't have anything listed. HD is on channel 694.

Hendriks looked good. His breaking pitch was working for him and he got at least one big swing and miss from Hafner with the change.

Parmelee has looked confused by that inside comebacker all night. Phelps got him with two strikeouts and Robertson just got strike two with it.

It's only one game but Sano does not looked out of place at 3B. I think most people half expected a lumbering Delmon Young-esque awkwardness to him but that is clearly not the case. He's big but his movements are much smoother than expected. He had at least one nice pick where he had to turn his hips toward the dugout then twist and throw to 1B which looked pretty natural. Well natural except for the double pump which I saw him do a couple of other times. He could work on cutting that out of his routine.

What? You all saw a nice play from Sano? I thought it was a terrible piece of footwork. He had no business back-handing that ball and will burned more times than not. He has to get in front of balls better than that to be successful. It doesn't matter if he gloves them all, getting in front of the ball and being able to make a play is the biggest challenge at 3b.

heard game on MLB station and it sounds like Hicks and Sano had some flashy plays defensively. Future sounds brighter than some of these post offer regarding Sano at 3rd. Not that he can't go on an error streak, but he also showed some hope and a skill set for the position. Like the radio announcer stated - Jeter had 54 errors during his first year in A ball. Sano just needs reps and time.
