RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Anyone else tired of hearing Hawkins, spew?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 The kid is a hitter. New game now boys, let's get after it.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Rocco's serving of that suspension has spurred this team on. They realized how much bull**** he spews.

Seriously...I know everyone hates the “he’s getting a lot of money” line, but he can’t run the bases, isn’t hitting a bunch of HRs and is one of the least clutch guys on the roster this year. At least he’s actually playing this year but that 4 letter B word is looming
denarded Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 14 rbii's surprises me. I don't check stats all the time, but that's a good 5 more than I would have guessed
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Willians wears one. Couldn't resist the alliteration.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Not sure if Larnach is ready, but I’m certain Kirilloff is.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Pulling Bieber is Francona's way of saving his ace from embarrassment. He's still throwing pretty good and his pitch count is reasonable.
denarded Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Twins Baseball 2021. At least there seems to be some energy
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Golden opportunity, fool's golden opportunity!!!!!!!

RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Let's see if coca cola can hit 100 mph!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Pitchers must be loving this plate ump. Calling pitches 4 to 6 inches off the plate strikes. Doesn't matter whether inside or outside or where.... just horrible calling.

He was still throwing well. Good velocity and break. He's thrown over 100 pitches in most of his starts. Didn't up the lead, albeit it is tied.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Alcala two days in a row..... not feeling good about this.....

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 "Maeda only made one mistake" .... BS. Pitchers make plenty of mistake pitches. It isn't reduced to one just because that is the one someone clobbered. There are still plenty of mistake pitches that don't get hit out. I see Twins batters missing the mistakes all the time. To use that tired statement as an announcer or writer is cheap and just wrong.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 I like how all the fielders gave Alcala a fist bump. Good job, kid. Nice sinker.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Alcala showing some emotion coming off the field. I like that. I can imagine he convinced himself that he was put upon to face the heart of the order without much time to get ready.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 If he can avoid TJ surgery and keeps a level head on his shoulders, I like Alcala's future.
