Who would you all want to face in the first round? Right now we’d play the jays, but if we can’t jump the White Sox we’d probably end up getting the Astros. Still a possibility we’d draw the team which shall not be mentioned.

I think I'd take either Toronto or Houston and be happy. Don't want to see Oakland, or the Rays. Or Chicago. Or the team which shall not be mentioned.

Probably because they had already warmed him up, and why waste that plus another pitcher. And also because he's not the only person with saves on this team (as if saves matter), so it's hard to call him a pure closer anyway. And also also, he hasn't been as effective on back to back days this year, so why not put him in with more of a cushion than normal?

And one more — it’s certainly possible they’ll want to use him on back-to-back nights come the playoffs, and it doesn’t hurt to give him a shot or two at that during the regular season.
