"Wheels" Sano.

This titanic defensive struggle illustrates the legendary resistible force against the movable object.

What a terrible game of baseball. Silly mistakes in the field giving away runs. And we're now well over two hours and have only finished 4.5 innings.

Gonna have to disagree here. Don’t like the Nike logos across the board, but I think the Twins and Cardinals rock the powder blues.

I can’t even put “rock” and “powder blue” together like that

I'm going with "Sano's gravitational field affected the flight of the thrown ball."

On a somber note, I'm seeing in the Post that Tom Seaver has died. As an American League fan, I didn't see much of him, but he always seemed like a good guy, notwithstanding playing for a New York team.

I think the people that have "nostalgia" for the powder-blues don't really remember the not-so-happy years when the Twins wore them.  We got rid of them and then won a World Series.

My “nostalgia” issue with the powder blues isn’t that I can’t remember the not-so-happy years. It’s that I still think I might somehow lose the 40 pounds that will get me back into the one still hanging in my closet.

I liked this post. But I ******* hate it.

My friend got me a ticket to Yankee Stadium to see Seaver win his 300th game as a White Sox.  Yes, I enjoyed the privilege, but I was constantly watching the scoreboard to see if Rodney would get his 3,000 hit.  And sure enough, he did; as you know, against the Twins.  The two 1967 Rookies of the Year.  Crazy how life is sometimes.

I think I might have too, and I've had 64...

I feel bad if i don't drink the final couple of ounces in a 2 liter of Mountain Dew myself.

Probably need it too, as i nodded off when my video feed stopped. Been hiccupping a bit, and falling behind.

I attribute that to there not being a whole lot of folk in my neck of the internet watching this game.

Problem with that explanation is that the radio waves necessary to transmit the news to you would be on their way to Neptune by now.

Oh wait... there was a joke?

Why doesn't anyone tell me these things?!

I believe you'll need to look inward for that answer.
