On a related note, I have never figured out why batting and pitching coaches get so much blame when players slump. The players have to perform and it is really on them if they don't. I guess I feel a bit different about players not developing.

Dobnak was really good, but got bitten by two homers. The lineup hit the ball hard, but didn't always find the grass. The defense and small ball carried us to a victory, and we sent the best pitcher thus far to the mound tomorrow. Feels good to beat these guys playing their own game.
