I have as much confidence in them as I did last week... going to stick with that as this team destroyed the Packers... then again, they lost to the Falcons so who knows..

 

 

Hoping the Vikings D is living rent free in Garapolo's head. I think this will be a low scoring game personally.

I have more faith in this game than the last. Niners are frauds. Jimmy G won't win them the game. Shut down the run, find a way to score, and Vikes win.

yeah I don't know... that defense is legit... better than ours... Our offense, I think, is better...and last week was a nice reprieve, but I've seen nothing from Zimmer and crew that says they consistently get this team ready for these types of games... and they have up to 3 more of them.

If they stop running on 2nd and long, and let Cousins play.....I think they have a shot. But if they keep up with this 1974 offense, they will eventually lose to good teams that run better schemes. The OL and the scheme are the weaknesses on this team....

Well, I predicted the win last week so I'll keep predicting wins. I think Cook needs a huge day (you can pay me money for my deep observations) but Zimmer can mess with their QB.

As someone who hasn't bled purple and gold for the last 20+ years, I think this game sets up pretty well for the visitors. San Fran doesn't have a huge homefield advantage, their defense has been much leakier the last quarter of the season, and they have a QB facing his first playoff game. The Vikings match up well talent-wise and are reasonably healthy. I think turnovers will decide this game and Minnesota has a nice positive ratio.

This game will be 100% about if Cousins has time. If he is sacked 5 times they lose. Hopefully they have a good plan to move him out of the pocket and a solid running attack.

 

Depleted secondary might be a factor. Vikes had to reach into the practice squad to fill the roster.

I’d say the Vikings have at least a 35-40% chance to win. Let’s hope the coaches have a good game plan, and some bounces go their way.

And by good game plan....I hope to see a bit of creativity and a bit of aggressiveness on offense. Those last three drives in the fourth quarter against the Saints when they could have put the game away with some first downs were...pretty uninspired.

The offense curling up in the fetal position. It’s amazing how they have drives where they throw it downfield and connect on a big play. Followed up by a run on 2nd and 18 and another run on 3rd and 15.
