Well, that was a full-fledged jinx right there, wasn’t it. My bad.

Yeah we need to post some Jinx guidelines for better guidance... The Playoffs are coming.

I saw that pitch as on the inside corner, but maybe I fooled myself into not being relentlessly negative all the time.

The one he hit was - middle vertically inside power lane..... it was a couple pitches back (second pitch to Cuthbert) that the right down the middle swing and miss happened. Typing delay.

Would posting jinx guidelines create some sort of jinx paradox? That would probably be bad.

You are right... it would.

There isn't an easy answer to this problem.

What about the Twinkies?

We are currently dependent on Lance Lynn to shut down the Yankees and prevent any more HRs from being hit.

That plan is so crazy it might actually work

I have two wishes today.

Health for all our players.

And Home Runs... Lots of Home Runs and even more Home Runs after that.

How about these home runs?

Now through 4.5 innings, the Rangers with Lance Lynn (now at 71 pitches and 8 Ks) on the mound..... 12 outs left for the Yankees. A one homer lead for the Twins.... MORE BOMBAS!!!!

Delicious irony, or something.  Mostly unrelated, but last night I was flipping through Gameday, happened to notice Luke Bard was pitching (to the Astros,) and by the time I could confirm it was indeed Luke, and not Daniel, or William S., he had managed to give up a three-run homer.

So, by that sampling of ex-Twins preventing potential playoff opponents from hitting homers, I have little faith in Lance.

From what I can tell, Lynn is having a very good season.

He’s had one helluva year. Hope he finishes strong.

I'm currently in Middle River, Minnesota. Just completed my Fantasy Hockey Draft.

We got the Vikings on TV... I have the Twins and Yankees on Game Cast and every time a deer walks by the window... I lose internet connection for some reason.
