PS: In case you're confused, no pets are allowed in Target Field that day. So don't even think about bringing your animals to pet appreciation day!

too bad. Sally is my only kid that hasn’t made it to a game yet.post-2738-0-86512100-1566266285_thumb.jpeg I think the four legged kid would be the least disruptive

I mean, I’ve watched probably 80% of twins games since he’s been a starter. He’s not good, he’s not bad. He’s average. I couldn’t tell you a single one of his stats, but having seen as much of him as I have, I think my assessment is valid.

 

I agree completely... He is average. His stats say so... The eye test says so. 

 

When you say he's not good it gives a different impression than average.

 

The Astros depend on Aaron Sanchez and Brad Peacock with worse numbers. 

 

Gibson has better numbers than Tanaka, Happ, Paxton and Sabathia with the Yankees. 

 

I think the Twins should always search for better than average but the law of averages suggests that you will have average players on your roster and depend on them.

I'm not expecting perfection on every single pitch. But if you're having trouble spotting fastballs, most hitters will lay off other pitches and wait for a meatball fastball.

By the way, I'm not able to watch the game tonight, so I have no idea how often he's hitting any of his spots tonight.

 

Cool... He wasn't perfect on one of those pitches.  :)
