We desperately need upgrades... the front office has to know this but we have posters threatening the front office with bodily harm. 

 

I'm absolutely ashamed.

 

I don’t think anyone is actually going to physically harm anyone. But not having made any moves up to this point is essentially criminal IMO

I will not argue that, at all.

RB, I'm pretty confident that was hyperbole, and far from the worst that's ever been on a game thread. I'm pretty confident I can find worse from both of us.

Yankee fans are always mad about something. 

yankee fans are always angry but whats worse is their entitlement...any free agent or trade deadline, its like" hmm what will Bauer bring to the rotation, or when the Yankees sign Kepler in 2020, etc etc" . they are all deluded a holes

Sorry but not interesting in hearing about what a 'great' game this was. The team blew a six run lead, got saved by Sano and than blew a 9th inning lead. Would have been better losing 12-2.

that was a great game, the outcome sucked but that was one for the ages.Twins can take these yankees.  I don't even know how you analyse a game like that, could've gone either way

Hicks made a great catch. He misses that, Twins at the very least tie the game.

I'd be ashamed to collect a paycheck if I was responsible for setting up a pitcher roster destined for failure against one of the best teams in baseball.

 

The Twins FO/Ownership (and everyone on TD) has known the bullpen needed more help since last December.

Harper. 31 inherited runners. 17 scored. including the 2 tonight. How you let him pitch to Gregorious is beyond me. Just walk him already. But they keep sending him out there with runners on base, and even in scoring position. That is insanity.

Kirby Yates is available..if the twins really wana make a pennant run, gotta pay up plain n simple... he is dominant and unhittable and a game changer....U can afford to lose a bat or a prospect, but this team must shore up the pitching

This. Harper's career path makes him easy to root for.

There're LOTS of reasons he hasn't pitched in the majors until he hit the age of 30.

To say this FO should've made a move by now isn't necessarily fair.  Too many variables with other teams happening and too many unknowns.  Twins aren't the only team looking for pitching and no other team has made a move yet either.  Wait for the first domino to fall then see what happens.  I hope the Twins push the first domino.

DOING SOMETHING, ANYTHING when you know what you have (or don’t have in this case) is an upgrade. Our best reliever now looks to have hit a wall, presumably because of overuse. Taking a gamble on Cody Allen doesn’t even qualify doing something IMO. This is a team that could win a pennant and we keep running out the same slop every night. Inexcusable.

I've said it before. The Twins have the Marlins coming up, and they would likely make a bad deal to save money and deal the Twins at least 2 better pitchers than are currently on the roster.
