According to an NPR sotry STORY, "The word "Hater" — as it's often used today — is derived from the term "Player Hater," a phrase popularized by late rapper Notorious B.I.G., shown here clutching his Billboard Music Awards in 1995."

 

So I suppose it's an age-related to thing, but to my ears I do not like being called a hater when I am merely expressing healthy skepticism.

Even unhealthy skepticism isn’t necessarily hating. But it is less good than healthy skepticism.

I'm skeptical I will actually lose the 30lbs I want to drop by September 1st.  Is that healthy or unhealthy skepticism?

LOL! What if I said it was under 350 but over 225?

 

I used a line I borrowed from Chief with my doctor during the physical.  Told him I was cutting carbs with my pizza slicer.
