John Kelsey Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 We'll be lucky to get 5 out of Odo at this rate.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 It's bad enough that this is a West Coast game. Toss in Odorizzi and ... yeah, I'll be worthless at work tomorrow.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I don’t have to work tomorrow so I can stay up and watch the game to the bitter end. What if it goes 17 again?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 What if it goes 17 again?I still don’t have to work tomorrow.

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 According to an NPR sotry STORY, "The word "Hater" — as it's often used today — is derived from the term "Player Hater," a phrase popularized by late rapper Notorious B.I.G., shown here clutching his Billboard Music Awards in 1995." So I suppose it's an age-related to thing, but to my ears I do not like being called a hater when I am merely expressing healthy skepticism.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 What? The guys playing drums and cowbells has been going on every game probably as long as the A's have played! How is it that suddenly some of you are hearing it? put your hearing aid back in, old lady twins fan

But it is less good than healthy skepticism.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Even unhealthy skepticism isn’t necessarily hating. But it is less good than healthy skepticism. Is that really true? I'm doubtful.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Even unhealthy skepticism isn’t necessarily hating. But it is less good than healthy skepticism.I'm skeptical I will actually lose the 30lbs I want to drop by September 1st. Is that healthy or unhealthy skepticism?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 <sputters awake> I nodded off there. Woke up because I dreamt a dinosaur was yelling at me and called *me* an old lady, that extinct nutter.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I'm skeptical I will actually lose the 30lbs I want to drop by September 1st. Is that healthy or unhealthy skepticism? This is such a complex question I am just going to eat some ice cream.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I'm skeptical I will actually lose the 30lbs I want to drop by September 1st. Is that healthy or unhealthy skepticism? Depends on if you weigh 350 or 150.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Yikes, Odo is off his game tonight.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Let’s not call fellow posters as haters. To be fair, I think Sano has given some reason to lose faith. That’s far from hate. Such a strong word. And Aggies? You miss the spittoon and you’re outa here!/sarcasm
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 <sputters awake>I nodded off there. Yeah, at your age that happens a lot, I bet.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Yeah, at your age that happens a lot, I bet.You would know ... and then some a lot.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Depends on if you weigh 350 or 150.LOL! What if I said it was under 350 but over 225? I used a line I borrowed from Chief with my doctor during the physical. Told him I was cutting carbs with my pizza slicer.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 It's your 2019 All-Star pitcher, folks!! Berrios: "Really, dude."
bighat Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 This lead is precarious, at best. Let's hope it doesn't become carious!

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Boy this went bad fast.I gotta disagree, there's been nothing fast about this.
