I think we're on different pages! I played for the college team. What organization did you play for?

Heh... not the college, just a town team for summer. They had 2 in Crookston, as I recall, and we'd go around to places like Argyle and Kennedy and such. And, of course, always to the Viking, where they had some DJ from the UK... how exotic.

You probably had players on your team that I played with. Small world. I don't remember the Viking bar. Go Twins.

I don't see "whiffable" stuff. Never have.

At this point if the Twins make the playoffs I wouldn't know who to put out there for the opening game. Odorizzi is trending downhill and Berrios doesn't really have "Ace" stuff. We need to get a dominant starter at the deadline.

Yeah I guess that's the problem. Our best starting pitching prospects are a year or 2 away from getting the call and the truly dominant pitchers are on contending teams.

I really hoped Washington went completely into the tank about a month ago. IMO they were about a bad week away from imploding, and blowing it up. Prolly not gonna happen now though.

 

Scherzer is the guy I wanted.
