Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 There we are, Castro, let's get that bat heated up again!
David HK Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I think we're on different pages! I played for the college team. What organization did you play for?Heh... not the college, just a town team for summer. They had 2 in Crookston, as I recall, and we'd go around to places like Argyle and Kennedy and such. And, of course, always to the Viking, where they had some DJ from the UK... how exotic.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Lead is down to two. I am hoping that the Twins win by 5 runs.

You probably had players on your team that I played with. Small world. I don't remember the Viking bar. Go Twins.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I think getting a starter at the trade deadline would be smart
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Unbelievable throw. On the other hand, I couldn't be more "meh" with Mejia.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Couldn't leave well enough alone with that one good inning from Mejia.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 "Hey, Comeback. I'd like you meet my friend, Itsnotoveryet." Agreed! More or less referring to Odo...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Robbie Grossman and Chris Herrmann. yeesh.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Mejia does have whiffable stuff... Maybe he'll stay healthy for a while.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Maybe Mejia can pitch bad enough to get DFA'd. Move the train wreck off the track.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Sigmund Freud recognized the use of cowbell as an existential cry for help. But interestingly, a cigar was just a cigar.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 At this point if the Twins make the playoffs I wouldn't know who to put out there for the opening game. Odorizzi is trending downhill and Berrios doesn't really have "Ace" stuff. We need to get a dominant starter at the deadline.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Who? Yeah I guess that's the problem. Our best starting pitching prospects are a year or 2 away from getting the call and the truly dominant pitchers are on contending teams.

IMO they were about a bad week away from imploding, and blowing it up. Prolly not gonna happen now though. Scherzer is the guy I wanted.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Is something wrong with Marwin's legs? He seemed be limping there, no?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 There we go, Luis! Let's tie this one up, Sano!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Is something wrong with Marwin's legs? He seemed be limping there, no?Wasn't his recent IL stint due to hamstring issues?
