Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Where the Sano haters at?why does one have to be a hater to criticize a player who's hitting .217 with 18 strikeouts in 42 ABs?
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 looks like another good game for the good guys.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Yes, but when we need to produce a hit in a close game I cringe when I see Miguel on deckThis. And a team choosing to pitch to him instead of adrianZa. Yeesh
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Just forgot a small detail. He's slugging .630 with 10 RBIs and 5 HRs in those 42 ABs.So any criticism of him is unfair without being labeled a “hater”?
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Castro has been smoking the ball lately
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 So any criticism of him is unfair without being labeled a “hater”? No, but when I see posts of "we should send him down" and "we should trade him" I can't help but laugh because those same people vanish as soon as Sano gets a HR or a big hit.
MNTSchmitt Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Trading Sano gives me nightmares of another Big Papi decision.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Sano has to get his strike out rate down,- thats my thing with him
Blake Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I've been gone, winning money in a shooting competition. What'd I miss?
Blake Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Castro has been smoking the ball latelycontract year?
MNTSchmitt Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I think if we pull this game out, doubt about us not being able to hang with above .500 teams should quiet down. We've played well against the Astros, Brewers, now the Rays.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Yeah that wasn't a bad pitch. Just gotta tip the cap to Arroyo
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Caution, nitpick alert.I've had the game on since the beginning today but haven't had the opportunity to chime in. I'm going to comment on the play earlier in the game in which Schoop was ruled safe at third when a TB infielder got in his way. Dick said it was interference but that's incorrect. Interference is when a baserunner gets in the way of a fielder who is attempting to make a play on a batted ball or intentionally alters the path of a thrown ball. When a fielder hinders the progress of a baserunner it's obstruction. Thank you. That is all.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 If Eddie can get his BA up around .300 and tick that OPS up he could definitely be a top 10 MVP candidate
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 If Eddie can get his BA up around .300 and tick that OPS up he could definitely be a top 10 MVP candidate I think he's top 10 right now.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Sano has to get his strike out rate down,- thats my thing with him That's a fair criticism... it's also a much more reasonable taken than say trading him. He's hit in the majors before. He's always going to be a K guy... I think to that extent he should probably get more time, especially since the last few weeks have been his spring training.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I think he's top 10 right now. Eddie has been good, but that's generous. Especially given that he's a corner outfielder.
