Here is a funny review of today's Indians/Orioles fiasco from a pretty funny guy.

 

I actually was watching that game live. 

 

I've always believed that you beat any major league team, it's a win, and all wins are to be valued and treasured. I've never bought into "well, it's just Miami, or Baltimore, or insertteamthat'sbadthisyearhere, so it doesn't mean anything."

 

All big league teams are tough to beat, and the margins are incredibly thin in MLB.

 

But watching Baltimore...yeah, that's not a MLB team. The pitching is so incredibly bad, it's almost fun to watch.

HATE THAT! B.S.! Buuuut....if you only do that in 6+....hard to be angry. I mean, it will catch up to you, but at the same time, hard to be angry. Still thinking a couple more games we might see a "normal" career Pineda. If our biggest worry, in the rotation, is Pineda rounding in to form, Twins life looks pretty good, right?

Dick is a graduate of Staples HS, and St Cloud State University. I'd say that makes him more than qualified to teach us all a thing or two about the Spanish language.

Pineda has had some problems with solo HRs recently, but outside of that he's been solid. He seems to have command over his pitches, with zero walks thus far (and I think he had 0 in his last start?). I'd keep throwing him out there and see if he improves.

Personal reflection and memory:

 

Always HATED the West coast swings because the internet and streaming didn't exist through the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. I used to play with antennas on radios and hide in my car listening through static on 57.0 WNAX Yankton to pick apart what I could.
