I don't know what you use to quantify that.... but the you sure do stick up for umpires. I know that you have said you umpire or umpired. I did some too. I know that an umpire is just guessing the best they can, and would think anybody that has done it would know that too, and have no need to stick up for them when there are better options. It is the close ones the players deserve the most, and are all too often robbed of the correct call. I would look them up, but it really isn't worth it.

I agree. I don’t fault the umpires for getting it wrong. It’s just that there are better options, since literally everyone watching the game on tv can see the balls and strikes better than the umpire behind home plate.
