Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Interesting that Rocco has pulled Berrios and KG with lowish pitch counts and rolling. I don't disagree with it, just interesting to note.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Any idea when that will be?He could have been activated today. I think he will be activated by Friday for sure.
FormerMinnasotan Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Well Gibby had a night 6 ip, 2 hits, 1 run, 11 k’s all with only an 88 pitch count. Wow...

Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Any idea when that will be? Probably when someone pulls a hammy.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Unless they take him out, Polanco...... there it is..... no chance for 6/6. Silly if you ask me. Day off tomorrow.... no need for rest. 25 year olds must need lots of rest. I guess he is almost 26.It's a 162 game season with a pretty deep roster. I welcome any and all rest Baldelli can give his regulars throughout the year. That has actually been a new tactic by the front office; the players get more mornings off, they're not supposed to take as much BP and not drill as often, etc. It's a long season that beats the hell out of these players. Any time you can reduce the risk of them tiring and/or getting injured in moments that don't matter to the W-L record, take it.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Good inning for Harper. He has solidified himself as a reliable middle reliever.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Holy cow, I love this lineup! And we haven't even had Tortuga play for the last couple weeks! Not to put the cart before the hoss, but Sano is crushing it on his rehab so far, too....
David HK Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Is Rocco seriously pinch running for Polanco? Cmon manYet another opportunity to showcase Ehire for when Tortuga and Sano get back.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Not to put the cart before the hoss, but Sano is crushing it on his rehab so far, too.... Hope he doe's something with it. I'm not holding my breath.
SockNet Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Has anyone seen more 'new pitchers' than eddie rosario? Seems like a pitching change happens right before his at bats more than others, whether in the middle of an inning or if he leads off an inning. Even in a slump opponents fear him.
wabene Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I agree with the above. There is a noticeable difference this year with giving guys rest and maybe more importantly keeping everybody involved.

Even though the Twins are done with the Jays, it’s one of those “unwritten rules” to not show up the other team, especially in their park.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Oh, good. Garver got a hit. I was beginning to feel bad for him.
jtkoupal Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Garver has a hell of a hickey from last night. What a player!
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Garver has a hell of a hickey from last night. What a player! I thought he got tased.

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 We deserve a four run homer!

Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 It's like...We really didn't mean to load the bases here.
gil4 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 This is rather unfair to the other team.Life ain't fair. Let them make up for it when the go to Baltimore.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I thought he got tased.Light saber?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Rough series for Nelson. I suspect he bounces back against the Tigers. Hard player to keep down for long.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Light saber? Oh ok. That looks less personal.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Cruz with 10 men left on base, not something I can remember seeing in a box score.

But when the guy has another chance for the cycle? So what. He's 25, and he gets to play baseball with a day off tomorrow. 25 year olds ain't what they used to be, I guess....... get that rest.
gil4 Verified Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Cruz is having a pretty garbage game, which is a funny thing to say when the team is winning 9-1.9 runs, 18 hits, an our 3-hitter is 0-6 with 3 Ks.
