Pulling Odorizzi was probably the right move, even though the fan in me wishes he’d have had a chance to go for the eighth.

 

But I also went and looked at his game logs. He has never pitched to more than 29 batters in a game, and he’s only had 19 games in his career when he’s gotten to more than 27. On one of those, he gave an intentional walk to Dozier and then was pulled.

I guess the question is would you have rather rolled the dice with Odorizzi in the 8th or Parker in the 9th.
