Odorizzi only at 73 pitches.... give him the 7th! Don't let things get out of hand....

[Channing1964]

seems kinda like a playoff type game

[IndianaTwin]

Gee. If you’d told me that Verlander would have thrown 27 more pitches than Odorizzi through six innings, I’d have assumed Odorizzi didn’t get through the third.

[h2oface]

Verlander can go 120.....

[Blake]

Come on, Twins, let's hand Houston a Blyleven style loss!

[Joe A. Preusser]

Verlander done with 100 pitches?

[FlauerPauer]

Leave him out there until he gives up a base runner.

[ashbury]

Nice half-dozen eggs, Odorizzi.

If only there existed a homonym for any of these words....

[FlauerPauer]

What's been really encouraging is Odorizzi hasn't been dicking around with wasting pitches nibbling and all that nonsense. Hopefully a good sign moving forward.

[ashbury]

Do you have any Felton Spencer or Luc Longley cards?

If he doesn't, how much will you pay him to take them off your hands?

[Gibby]

This is why it's so hard to watch Gibson.

[Joe A. Preusser]

Seriously, I consider myself a pretty big homer fan, but just who the hell is on the mound for the Twins tonight I have never seen him before.

[mrtwinsfan]

Let him start the 8th ?

[Mill1634]

Jake. Freaking. Odorizzi.

[mrtwinsfan]

Guess not

Supposedly, it's Jake Odorizzi, but, from what I've seen, I have my doubts.

[Joe A. Preusser]

Extremely tempting. Would show a lot of faith in him.

[Gibby]

I wouldn't. Molitor always left the pitcher in 1 too many innings.

[operation mindcrime]

Trade Odorizzi now! His value will never be higher!

[Blake]

Watching Odorizzi, something struck me: While he's very deliberate on the mound, there doesn't seem to be a lot of wasted motion.

Ding dong, the Verlander is dead.

[Channing1964]

That's what she said.
