June is finally here and the Twins are off to a not so hot start. However, they did play one of their most exciting games, once again against Cleveland. Let's hope they start June off on the right foo

The team has a weather person that can advise the teams and umpires of the possibility of getting the game in.

 

Don't get me wrong. It would be great if they could move the rain time. :). It has to be very disruptive to move the starting time of the games for all those fans and vendors. :)

They can't delay the rain but if you believe cloud seeding works they can start it.

At least I can see the real Lamarre when he bats tonight instead of seeing his name come up on gamecast and involuntarily picturing Harvey Korman saying

How many more plate appearances does Lamarre need to set the MLB record for PA's without an extra base hit? If the Twins' season tanks further, that's the kind of record pursuit I could get behind.

Well, LaMarre isn't Buxton out there, is he?

 

It's hard to look good backing up a defensive wiz like Buxton, but I'm starting to think Lamarre's mediocrity in center field could stand out for any team.

I’m at Fort Marcy Ballpark to watch the Santa Fe Fuegos play the Garden City Wind. Beautiful evening for it, and for my daughter’s sixth birthday party (she did this last year and asked to do it again this year!!). Hope to catch the end of the game, but it’s unlikely.

me too...but the game is at 3pm

 

 

Well, maybe they’ll move back the start time to 6:10 or something.

The start time could wind up being delayed a few hours. They may wind up playing a night game after all.
