I still drag 4 to my mixed handicap lg with Mrs Chief, 5 to my scratch (challenge shot) league.

 

229 for the mixed league this year. Best ever.

I am in a pro sport doubles league this summer, my partner is a young guy (40) and has 103 300's, I don't have that many. 229 in a mixed league is great.

Someday, a major league manager is going to come along and tell his team, we are NEVER, EVER, under any circumstances, wasting an out to bunt a guy from first to second. It's a waste of an out--and we only get three per inning--and that's if it WORKS. At least as often, it doesn't even work.

Levine should be waiting in Molitor's office after the game to ask for his resignation. This bullpen usage is totally unacceptable. Reed has pitched now in 4/5 days. We're already seeing his arm break down, velocity is down. These are really valuable assets he's running into the ground. This isn't the way anyone is managing bullpens in 2018 but you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Time to go.

I have no problem with him swinging. He got a pitch to hit. 

 

What worries me about Buxton, though, is he was sitting fastball, got it, with pretty much nothing on it, and couldn't hit it hard.
