He's actually been pretty good for a month now.  .834 OPS for the last 30 days.

Lynn has his command under control, but he's sure giving up a ton of hits, especially doubles.

Lynn has lost a couple MPH off the fastball in the 5th.

8 hits in 5 innings isn't great. The Sox are in fact out-hitting the Twins to this point. Lynn hasn't been a train wreck, but he's not sharp. I think the main thing we should be encouraged about is the 0 walks.

No walks and I think Lynn has made the pitches when he needed to.

 

Overall, it's encouraging, considering the train wreck we've become accustomed to.
