Since the thread yesterday had such excellent results (Twins Win) I decided I best stick to what is the winning formula.

So, without much further ado, here is the thread from yesterday. (be quiet over there, I'm not being lazy, I'm being creative!)

It was nice to stick out a game and not cringe a dozen times. By my count, there were only a half dozen cringe worthy moments.

Progress!

Today the Twins play the Sox and hopefully, Mr. Lynn will shake off whatever has been troubling him and get the job done.

And now, some thoughts for thinking:

This Space For Rent1

1. Hector Santiago pitches for the Sox?
2. Daniel Palka plays for the Sox?
3. Sorry, I got nothing.
4. More nothing.
5. Okay, we'll just mail it in at this point.

White Sox:

P: Hector Santiago

Twins:

P. Lance Lynn

mods: I may not be back in time to post lineups. Thanks again everyone who reads what I put up! I appreciate it very much.

Wait is the game 4:10 or 5:10, I'm seeing different reports

Blake likes to confuse us all 4:10 is Pacific time; 6:10 is Central time.

EE is, at this time, likely the last Twin a pitcher on an opposing team wants to face with runners on. But I bet if you asked Eddie if ever, even in his wildest dreams, did he think he would hit cleanup in the majors, he would have given you one of those big smiles and considered you loco!

Fun fact: Escobar leads the MLB in doubles with 14 right now.

Boy, we better be able to beat Santiago today. Though the White Sox should also be able to beat Lance Lynn...

Jeez... Nobody loses today. I may not watch now.

Yes, this is exactly how the Twins should be tearing apart Santiago. Let's just make sure not to take a 5-0 lead, because we learned last year how dangerous those are.

Morrison looked bad, failed to get an RBI with 1 out and a man on 3rd.

Aside from that, nice inning! Escobar should be up for MLB Player of the Week if he gets a few more base raps this weekend.

Lance has put up nothing but zeros so far.

Roy Smalley: "Let me just say one thing about Lance Lynn, and this is strange, let me tell you. I mean I've never heard this stat before, and I played in the MLB for 12 years, er, 13 years I guess if you count my time with New York. This is a crazy thing, and again I was just amazed when I heard this..."

JUST SAY THE THING ALREADY ROY!

One in, bases loaded after 3 straight singles. Will Lance walk in a run to spice things up?

Roy says Lynn is “finding the strike zone better”. If the bar was set any lower we’d trip over it

My initial thoughts about this matchup seem to be right. Also, it's about time Lynn hits the DL with a mysterious injury. It might be time for Slegers to come up and start, and I don't think he's going to be any good.

I'm never sure if Dogs or a double play is man's best friend. I'll put that one on the double play side of the ledger.

I thought for sure Lynn was going to walk home a run.

More progress!

Dick and Roy really going hard on the “he missed spring training excuse” tonight. It’s May 5. How much longer will that be acceptable?

For Lynn, that's a step up. Before, there was no bar Lynn couldn't limbo under.
