Seem to be hitting the ball hard. We will produce eventually

Eventually... after Cleveland runs away with the division

Which reminds me: If the Twins were playing anywhere near the way they did last year (with actual energy and fight), they'd have the division lead and it'd give them much needed confidence

This start could be very debilitating just like 2016

Dozier’s OBP down to .333, and average to .255. His BABIP is not too much out of line for his career norms.

Remind me again why he’s at the top of the lineup.

What’s the alternative? Rosario? Mauer? Escobar? Dozier has had success as a lead off hitter. Why fix something that isn’t broken? He’s ALWAYS been a streaky hitter. The Twins have at least 10 bigger problems than who hits leadoff.

The rule book says fair territory is from the baselines perpendicular upwards. If the ball is rolling and just nicks the base is it fair even if the ball was in contact with the ground foul?

What if a ball hits the foul pole, and bounces back into fair territory? Common sense would dictate it’s foul, since it’s not the fair pole, I would think.

Dozier’s success is tied to hitting homers, which is less helpful hitting behind the worst hitters than the best. Even when he’s going great, it’s not a good spot for him.

I would absolutely say Mauer is a better option to lead off, and to be perfectly honest, I’d put Escobar, Kepler, or even Grossman (assuming he’s going to play every day) there, and let Dozier hit his homers/popouts from the 3 hole.

Ok just the last inning he one handed a short pitch with the bases loaded, and I was gonna say something. But good grief he is not good with a glove

I like to think that the ghosts actually thought it was hell (for obvious reasons), but asked the other way, like when someone seriously hurts them self and you immediately ask if they’re ok instead of if they’re hurt.

If I was in charge of writing the screenplay for "Field of Dreams".

Shoeless Joe: Is this Heaven?

Ray Kinsella: What? Heaven? Look behind you.

(Shoeless Joe turns to look behind him)

Ray Kinsella: That's a corn field... now give that some thought.
