Assuming 3 of the games they are pitching at any given moment, they want at least 27 men to be on the field...

Simultaneous games would be interesting to manage.

Kepler is pulled from game 1 to pinch hit in game 2.

 

I imagine it would be something like the multi-ball mode of Kiss Army pinball, but with less face paint and more bunting.

 

The thought of three slow-rolling sac bunts in play at once is sending shivers down my spine!

I was checking up on the Jays roster and how they were doing this season... their lineup and starters' stats are a bit underwhelming, but their bullpen... whoa, nelly. I know it's a crime in some states to equate ERA to talent level, but of their 7 relievers, the highest ERA was 3.48. If they make it to their bullpen with a lead, it's probably game over.

My guess is not soon. Many reasons.

 

One, Lynn is the first starter the current regime signed as a FA (other than Colon). Hughes is a guy they inherited.

 

Two, Lynn has actually pitched well as recently as last year. He could still become serviceable.

 

Three, you can’t make every struggling starter a mop up man. You hopefully only need one.

A rough starting month coming off limited Spring Training starts is probably not a good barometer for Lynn's potential this season, but he needs to start improving soon
