That's a crooked number

"Crooked number" definitely added to the bingo card maker

So I was on a short drive during my lunch break and had the game on. I just can't bleeping stand Dan bleeping Gladden and his misprobleepingnunciation of Spanish names. He must have said Ay-drianza a dozen times while I was listening. This guy's been doing Twins games for, what, 20 years now? And he can't figure out how to speak properly? And nobody has ever coached him on it?

OK, I'm done, I feel better now. Thanks for letting me rant.

I will place one beer on "makes it out of the inning unscathed"

The side-by-side photos of Gibson 2017/2018 suggests he has put on a good 20 pounds. Maybe the red uniform just flattered him better.

Anyone up for a lawyer joke?

Everyone??

OK

NASA is interviewing candidates for the first manned mission to Mars. The kicker is...it's a one way trip. The astronaut isn't coming back.

First up is an engineer. "What will it take" comes the question from the NASA crew. "One million dollars," he says.  "I'll donate it to my alma mater, Stanford University."

Next up, a doctor. "What will it take?" "Two million," comes the answer, "and I'll donate one million to my alma mater, the University of Minnesota, and give one million to my family."

Finally, a lawyer.  "What will it take?" "Three million," says the lawyer. "Why so much?" asks the interviewers. "Well, I'll give you a million to split, I'll keep a mil, and we'll send the engineer."

"99% of lawyers give the rest a bad name."

Ok, so if you have trouble getting across the border, don't be surprised.

Are you suggesting that poutine is healthy or that unicorns exist?  I'm unclear at this point.

Yes.

They really need to turn the field mic down beside Ric Flair there.

I was sitting half a section in front of him last night.  It was bad enough that I was actually listening to my wife complain about being cold.

I'm going to guess NASA picks the engineer, as it's the most cost effective deal.

Now, if the AIR FORCE were running the program, I could imagine the lawyer's deal taking the prize.

If Gibby doesn't make it out of this inning, this prop bet is a win for the house.
