Game Thread: Twins @ Royals; 6:15 CDT, 9/9/17

[h2oface]

One pitch. Thanks Buddy.

[Danchat]

Yeah, we're kinda screwed with Hildy and Belisle needing breaks. Pressly has the stuff but just can't get things done when he needs to, Boshers has been terrible the last month or two. Yuck.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Hey -- KC put a pinch runner in for the slow guy.

Can they do that?

[jokin]

They can do that by placing their foot on the manager's backside.

...And then extending that foot... In an upward and outward trajectory...

[notoriousgod71]

What purpose does bringing in your two worst relievers in a tie game serve?

[howeda7]

I'd turn to freaking Turley and maybe even Perk before I'd turn to Boshers for a lefty at this point. Stop already.

[h2oface]

And now Duffey. I am in Hell.

[yarnivek1972]

Tonkin is very good vs RHB. I think I would be trying him against Perez.

[Aggies7]

Molitor managed this one like his arse tonight

[drock2190]

All I see is a bunch of bums trotting out to the mound.

[USAFChief]

It's OK.  The bullpen's fine.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Crafty minimizing?

we call it SEQUENCING, helloo-oo?

[h2oface]

Fans are really holding on to Pressly "has the stuff". I say stuff it. Eject.

[ashbury]

Tuning in late. Good to see Buxton breaking out of his mini-swoon, apparently.

[notoriousgod71]

Did Busenitz die?

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

let's be honest

we all felt it, saw this coming tonight

[howeda7]

Hey Falvine, it's still legal to trade for a reliever.....

[snepp]

Brought the gas cans to the ballpark tonight.

[Aggies7]

Wow this went to hell EXTREMELY quickly

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

why bother with anymore pitching changes

[Aggies7]

Funny to think about what could have happened if Pressly had been able to take the out they were giving him.

[notoriousgod71]

My God, Molitor, you are doing your finest Bruce Bochy performance tonight. Just sit the **** down and let someone's arm fall off.

[howeda7]

Did Busenitz die?

He should have started this inning. The only possible excuse is that he was being held for the save.

[snepp]

How many Twins relievers does it take to record a single out?

[USAFChief]

It's like...they expected a rolling lollipop curve from each of Boshers and Duffey.

Duffey is not a major league pitcher.

[Aggies7]

Oh my god here he comes again. This is a nightmare job by Paul.

[yarnivek1972]

This is what happens when you have only 4 reliable relievers.

A run of close games means you need them to pitch everyday. But you can't.

[h2oface]

Sano would have had that

[jokin]

I'd turn to freaking Turley and maybe even Perk before I'd turn to Boshers for a lefty at this point. Stop already.

That's a lefty too far. Perk is kaput.

[Puckett34]

So...Rogers is available now, but not before Boshers pitched?
