Well, there's no doubt in my mind that MLB wants the ball leaving the park.  So, if the baseballs are juiced, it's great for the fans and the hitters, but where does that leave the pitchers when it comes to HOF voting?

i knew a winona from virginia, minn., but that probably doesn't count. 

 

I grew up near Virginia, MN (the big town where you did your school and Christmas shopping and it had two movie theaters open on weekdays in addition to the weekend - and they had stop lights and fast food).    

 

When I was little there used to be a annual Christmas special, "Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus."  I could not grasp that they were referring to a girl named Virginia and it was not about the town.  Imagine my confusion later when I discovered there was an actual state called Virginia.  

 

In retrospect, I might not have had the best education.
