In honor of the streak, I am declaring tomorrow (Friday) as Work From Home Naked Day.  I'll be getting on a plane to go on vacation with the fam so, I regret that I will have to miss it and I won't be able to watch our Twins for the next 5 days...gasp!

RB, since every day is WFHN day for you, feel free to carry on as usual.

Wow, Duffy buzzed some decent heat past those Brewers. Good placement away from the middle. Those sure looked like 4-seamers. I thought he got rid of that pitch. Maybe that's when you bring it back...?

I think Joe could have been an outstanding 3B, LF, or RF if they had put him there and given him a year or two to settle in.

IDK about outfield. I mean he wouldn't be/have been horrid. But he's never been fast. He was 30 when he switched to first. He would catch what he got to, but I think his range would have been WAY below average.

I don't know. For anyone that has watched a majority of Twins games over the years, Dick seems to do this every couple of months (or apparently any time Swarzak pitches) and since there was never any leaking of any other guy doing this I'm fairly confident he's referring to Slowey.

Maybe Kevin got everyone a Christmas present except Dick

Ok, I don't even like Slowey but I'm looking at his stats and holy crap his 2006 half season in Ft. Myers was ridiculous.

1.01 ERA in 89.1 innings- only 52 hits 9 BB 99 K and a .68 whip.

Now it would for sure, but I think he could have covered the ground at 30.

That last at bat, his gait to first was short, choppy steps, not the loping glide of Joe in his prime. I guess age catches up to all of us. :(

Even though he has not caught for awhile, I suppose the ten years crouching behind the plate has helped the aging process for the legs.  I remember playing kickball in my mid-30s after not having played kickball or softball for a few years.  I was running regularly at the time, so it is not like I was sedentary, but it was a rude awakening at how much more difficult the base running was.

I remember Souhan really did not like Slowey - and had some comments (I think early tweets) that were really personal and mean-girl that seemed unprofessional even if Slowey was the biggest jerk on the team.  Not that you can really judge a person by the fact that Souhan doesn't like you....

I have somewhat low standards and fall back on the bandwagon fairly easily, but I will be happy if they finish the season at or about 500.

It's kinda crazy how terrible Belisle and Pressly were early in the season and now they're back to being fantastic relievers. I can't recall any other pitchers in recent years who swung between so bad and so good.

Respect the streak, yes.
