He always seems to, which is a little maddening.

Which gets us nowhere.  

 

The answer is proceeding to stop doing things that need redeeming.   :)

That's honestly probably the 6th time in the last month he threw to a base that he had no chance of getting a runner at, allowing another runner to move up. And I think I'm being kind.

Then put Adrianza in left.  Or Gimenez.  Or Escobar.  Or Breslow.

 

Don't care.

 

What I care about is somehow, someway, Rosario needs to stop playing like he's got a guaranteed major league job, no matter how often he ignores what's expected of him.

Add in a blindingly bad baserunning flub or two, and a couple dozen 3 pitch K's with runners on while you're at it.

Interestingly, Hunter sort of made the point that TK would sit people for not doing the little things right. Sort of an indictment of Molitor, I think.

More of an indictment of a 3 man bench. Lot easier to sit a guy when you have 5 reserves.

That play looked like a guy who's just given up on this game.  They were lucky it didn't cost more runs, but it definietly cost more pitches.
