Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Buxton's RBI solidifies this as game of the year
spinowner Provisional Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Great close and late hit by Buck!
gocgo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 Good to be on the other side of one of these. I figured we'd get to Gausman. Never tell me the odds!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Why did I have to miss this game??
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 And that Buxton speed just stole another run (plus the Orioles crappy defense). But by all means, let's send him off to Rochester.
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Yes Buck Yes! Love the passion and enthusiasm! Bring that fire!!!
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I wonder if Britton really thinks he can shut down major league hitters by strictly throwing a 95 mph heater....sorry Zach, they've seen those before
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Does this game remind anyone else of the game against the Tigers 2 years ago when we came back from like 6 runs right before the all-star break and went into the break hot as ever?

Conga line on the base paths. I bet Bark has some choice graphics from that.
Guest Guests Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Taylor Rogers and Brandon Kintzler give a couple of decent late inning relievers. It would be great to have a couple more.

Blake Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Dear Twins FO; I would like to point out recent events that have taken place at Target field. Please notice who has taken a 6 run deficit and turned it into a 3 run lead. Yes, it is the youngsters. And one of the youngsters relieved a youngster who was struggling and kept the Orioles from further scoring. Please, please, please, do not bring up Colon. This is not acceptable and is a regression from the current direction of the young talent. Sincerely, Blake

Haven't let him live it down yet.
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Well... his ERA in the last 18 months iiiiiiis zero point somethingMy point being......he must have something else to offer too

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Kintzler almost reminds me of Greg Maddux, the way he can bend his heater left or right and throw strikes. Not quite the surgical precision of Maddux, but Kintzler's stuff is very hard to read, and he keeps throwing strikes.
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Lol I love when teams steal by defensive indifference and Dick always says "(so and so) goes, Twins don't care)
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 As with most of Kintzler's saves, I start to tense up about now
