Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 actually, three walks and a home run would be a far worse way to start a ballgame. Always look on the bright side of life
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 has anyone ever struck out in the home run derby? just wondering ...
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Did anyone else feel a little uncomfortable as Roy described Vargas's "surprisingly soft, agile, nimble hands"? Maybe Roy's been reading too many romance novels?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 actually, three walks and a home run would be a far worse way to start a ballgame. Or two walks, two line drive doubles, and a misdemeanor assault on a hot dog vendor...
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Dear Felix, On June 9th, 1966 in the 7th inning of a game between the Twins and Kansas City. Rollins, Versalles, Oliva, Mincher and Killebrew all hit home runs in the same inning. You did better than that. Sincerely, RiverbrianDear Riverbrian, Thank you for your words of encouragement. We'll talk about the 7th when i get there. Sincerely, Felix Ps. Thank you SampleSize for relaying what i would have said, if i weren't busy pitching.

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Molitor did not look as happy as Vargas about that.
Whammy Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Twins batters... making Carlos Silvia look like Nolan Ryan since April 2017
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Did anyone else feel a little uncomfortable as Roy described Vargas's "surprisingly soft, agile, nimble hands"?Maybe Roy's been reading too many romance novels? I think Billy Tim Denham might have gone all the way down to fifteen-five on the vans to get Roy to stop. http://vegastripping.com/images/news/oceans-eleven-gag-1.png
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Roy tried wearing batting gloves but . . . .
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Or two walks, two line drive doubles, and a misdemeanor assault on a hot dog vendor... Sorry, I'm late... I I know you were all waiting for my presentation and for that I apologize. I was visiting a friend of mine at the hospital. He had a real bad string of luck, in the past week, his accountant stole all of his life savings, his wife left him, his dog died, his son was arrested by the DEA, his daughter married a guy with no job and he was ran over by a bus while crying in agony in the middle of the street. Like I said it was a tough run of luck for him, I appreciate your patience and understanding. Now down to business... our 4th quarter in comparison... wasn't that bad.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Colon! LOL I wonder if anyone on Twinsdaily will have comment on that.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Well the Jorge love affair was quite short
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 and that's not quite the worst way to start a third inning ...
Whammy Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Did the Ump's union threaten to sue FSN? I feel like they have barely used FoxTracks in the last week, which pretty much coincided with the umps looking completely foolish for like 3 straight games Really wanted to see where ball 4 to the leadoff hitter missed
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Well the Jorge love affair was quite shortThe Orioles seem to like him...

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 But got a text that OF Zack Granite is being summoned to Mpls. Very cool. From Darren Wolfson Not sure about the Colon signing. He's 44 years old and coming off of a terrible string of 14 starts in the National League. Yikes...
Minnesotatwins005 Provisional Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I wish the Twins would go to the matte helmets. Really like the look of them.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 After watching a video of Colon run to second after hitting a double I have to wonder if the man can field his position any more. Can someone please tell the FO signing Colon is the opposite of a youth movement? Might as well bring Hawkins out of retirement.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 What kind of throw was that from Eddie Munster?
