Not sure what Duffey did to get pulled. Pitched too well? Bringing in Rogers to pitch to Encarnacion seemed like a bad idea.

She sounds very enthusiastic when she announces that the Twins are "leading".

And when I ask her for the score in the Indians game she tells me that the Indians are trailing and she sounds a little sad about that. I think that she has been programmed to be happy when the team you ask about is winning and sad when the team you ask about is losing.

Think I dated her sister. She was fun until she wanted to choke me during sex one time.

Got myself a bowl of ice cream as a reward for a hard week at work.

Bad Ice Cream is still pretty dang good but... Why did my wife have to buy bad ice cream?

Next time around you need to cover that in the prenup.

I like LaTroy in the booth too, he's good. I think he talks over the game a bit too much sometimes...he's not yet comfortable with those silent moments. But he's getting there!

I agree. Good broadcasting is all about matching the style of whatever sport you are covering. Vin Scully and Al Michaels had the perfect style for baseball.

This is why the sound is always off when an American broadcaster attempts to narrate a football (soccer to Americans) game. Football requires the same kind of patient, relaxed narration as baseball does, but the American broadcasters seem to have the (incorrect!) attitude that "this is a boring game so I have to act excited about every pass to keep the viewers interested." Drives me nuts!

I've stated this before... I really have no problem with any of the Twins announcers... Regular or Occasional fill in.

However... I do believe that the time has come for the next generation of baseball announcers and the new guys are going to have to be able to work with increased graphics and statistical breakdowns.

In the future... players will be wearing Fit Bit type devices and the announcer is going to have to talk about how the pitchers heart rate is racing with the bases loaded, 1 out and 1 run lead in game 7 of the world series.

LOL

No... She tried... It's a Caramel Crunch type thing but it the Target Market Pantry variety and I don't think those guys try very hard based on the end result.

That's a shame. If I were you I'd sneak out and get a large Heath Blizzard from DQ.

It's ok... I have a plan.

I'm going to eat this stuff real quick so I can say that we are out of ice cream and buy some real stuff.

I can always depend on you to have a master plan. Make it happen.
