I thought I heard a stat during this series that the Rays had the third best defense in the AL (by some standards/stats).  The Twins were number 1.

If those choices were more equal, then yes, the correct answer was yes. But I just couldn't say that for that. Now, if Mauer had actually hit for the cycle and the choices were Rosario walking twice in a game or Joe hitting for the cycle, then the answer would've been yes.

I'm not sure what those standards or stats might have been, but I know they have allowed the second most unearned runs in the AL.
