Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Slow delivery to the plate... GO ROSARIO
Linus Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Yep he ditched the leg kick. I like it-makes him shorter and quicker to the ball.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Alright Buxton should steal But Not Rosario!!!
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Look out Mario Mendoza, here comes Byron Buxton.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I didn't like the outcome but I did like Rosario forcing the Rays to make the play. Keep the pressure on!
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Nooooo! Jack is channeling Bert, "drop the barrel of the bat.." If Jack starts talking about his birthday, you know there is some creepy supernatural possession happening.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Too bad it wasn't a called double steal. If Rosario had broken home with the throw he'd have scored.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Seriously Eddie? If he goes right away... he has a chance. But he didn't
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I like that baserunning by Rosario with a .200 hitter at the plate. Throw was way off line and if it rolls 4 inches he scores easily. If you wait to be sure the ball gets away you blow your chance. That was the Twins best chance to score in that half inning, and both were well below 50%
Linus Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Too bad it wasn't a called double steal. If Rosario had broken home with the throw he'd have scored.I agree. He didn't break until the ball was at second base.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 He wasn't even that far of the base. Should have been moving towards home...
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 He wasn't even that far of the base. Should have been moving towards home... As long as the 2nd baseman has no clue he's cheating up the line. Otherwise assuming a good throw to 2nd he doesn't even try to tag Buxton and easily picks Rosario off third
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Don't mind the attempt, but the execution was poor. You have to go a lot sooner than that.Yes, I think that is a fairer assessment than what I said.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The broadcast team is to blame for that run. Showed a stat of how the teams is leading the league with the fewest errors. Cue up Kepler with the whiff on the double to allow the runner to score from first.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Okay, that was excellent by Gibson. For whatever reason, shook off the error by Kepler and got Longoria.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Is this the inning for the fireworks we have been expecting?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Example 25490000 of why the ball needs to be put into play. Good job, Mr. Dozier!
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 If the double play is the pitchers best friend, then the booted double play grounder is....

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Did I see that infield alignment? They are PLAYING Mauer to PULL??
Blake Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Okay, baseball people: Both 1st and third and cheating in on the bunt attempt. Double steal time?
spinowner Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Did I see that infield alignment? They are PLAYING Mauer to PULL??This is standard for Mauer. Infield to the right, outfield to the left.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Jack Morris speculating on pinch hitting for Vargas in the 5th. Argh
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Alright Kennys... wait on the curve... Look fastball.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Well Vargas hasn't helped us much today.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I'm a little surprised the Rays didn't make a move. But they do only have one lefty reliever.
