Game Thread: Twins v Rays, 5/27 @ 1:10pm CT

I'll give Grossman props - he does seem to be getting better as a hitter. Is he finally maturing as a ballplayer?

We are well beyond SSS.

It seems this is the player we have.

Pretty damn good.

[stringer bell]

I stand corrected. I have spelled the young man's name wrong throughout.

[spinowner]

No bout adout that one!

[stringer bell]

Gone! How many has Eddie pulled this year?

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Eddie!!!!

Not complaining about a tied game...

[stringer bell]

Ehire sounds like an online employment agency.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

I stand corrected. I have spelled the young man's name wrong throughout.

Soon you can say you threw out the young man's name spelled wrong?

Spelling things correctly is easier these days with cut and paste technology...

[stringer bell]

Interesting--Dozier green light on 3-0 and Mauer goes after the first pitch.

[stringer bell]

Adrianza never seems in a hurry when the ball is hit to him.

[stringer bell]

I'd like to see Mejía go one more inning.

[Circus Boy]

This is a CBU in advance: Big inning here.

[Linus]

Adrianza is very smooth. I would like to move on from Giminez.

[Twinsbar107]

Kepler, has a beautiful swing.

Wouldn't be opposed to the Twins going green permanently.

It's not easy being green.

[stringer bell]

Good AB from Vargas. Probably assures Odorizzi only goes five.

[Guest]

Vargas is ending Odorizzi's day.

[yarnivek1972]

Great at bat!

[Danchat]

Holy cow, this game is going to last 4 and a half hours if we have more at bats like that. Was that 13 pitches long?

[yarnivek1972]

Adrianza is very smooth. I would like to move on from Giminez.

????

I don't see how one statement is relevant to the other. As far as I know, Adrianza doesn't play catcher.

[yarnivek1972]

I'd like to see Mejía go one more inning.

But you won't.

[stringer bell]

Duffey for two innings?

[stringer bell]

That one looked low from here.

[Darius]

This is exactly what they need Mejia to do going forward. I'd be happy with that.

[Squirrel]

????

I don't see how one statement is relevant to the other. As far as I know, Adrianza doesn't play catcher.

I think it was just two separate comments about two different players.

[King]

Big Duff has been nails this year

[spinowner]

I'd like to see Mejía go one more inning.

But you won't.

You will, but not in this game.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Jake owed her, easy.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Anyone else looking for Rosario to steal 2nd and 3rd here?

[stringer bell]

Good Eddie showed up today.

[stringer bell]

Walk Dozier to pitch to Mauer? Well, they are bringing in a lefty to face Mauer.
